The inspiration for this piece came to me when I saw these beautiful white, brown and
raspberry glass beads. The colors reminded me of a time when I used to pick raspberries
with my Grandmother. I remember her teaching me how to watch for snakes. She always let
me decide what I wanted to do with them after we'd finish picking them.
As I journeyed home with my new beads I could see  two pictures in my minds eye one of
the child enjoying the treat created with the berries I'd helped pick and two this beautiful
necklace inspired by a happy memory.

This piece is special because it features two different types of beaded beads. Once I
taught myself how to do the second technique. I was able to try creating this piece. I
really do have too much fun! What was the most fun was figuring out how to enclose one
of the big pink beads in a beaded cage.
